Super excited to share this incredible summer wedding at Appuldurcombe House on the picturesque Isle of Wight. Katie & Matthew’s wedding was simply marvellous, packed with laughs, love and epic dance moves. There couldn’t be a better way to celebrate their amazing love for each other.

The day starts at Katie’s parent’s guesthouse, The Miclaran, with her close family and bridesmaids for some fun portraits in the garden, posing with their beautiful bouquets created by Bonne Fleur, before heading to a unique and charming location, Appuldurcombe House, for their wedding. Once one of the grandest houses on the island, this 18th-century baroque building that’s partly restored, still retains its elegance and is such a fascinating place to explore. It was the perfect place for Katie & Matthew’s gloriously fun wedding, with many of their guests travelling to the Isle of Wight and discovering it for the first time. It truly makes for a memorable & exciting day. The little touches of having bespoke artwork by Susan Taylor Design for the table centre pieces, of famous Bristol landmarks, a homage to where Katie & Matthew first met and currently live, to a fabulous 3-piece jazz band – Tom Belbin Trio – giving those soothing and cool vibes throughout the reception and wedding breakfast, were fantastic.

Two of the most touching moments of the day were when Matthew saw Katie in her stunning Eddy K wedding dress walking down the aisle, and when Matthew delivered an emotional speech to the guests. It’s clear to see how much they love and respect one another.

This day was all about celebration, vivacity and love. Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
