Beaulieu Domus New Forest Vintage Inspired Wedding

Laura & Mike looked radiant on their wedding day despite the stormy weather. They embraced the British weather and had a blast celebrating with friends & family at the grand setting at Beaulieu Abbey at The Domus, nestled in the New Forest. This was historically the lay-brothers living quarters dating back to 1204, and it was fantastic to see Laura & Mike say the vows to one another in a place steeped in history.
There were lots of wonderful touches that made their day truly unique, such as two spectacular 1950’s Wolseley ‘six eighty’ police cars. This was particularly special as Mike currently serves in the Hampshire Constabulary, so it was great to photograph elements of his Police background. In keeping with the vintage theme, Laura looked stunning in her vintage-inspired dress that perfectly matched the fabulously fun wedding cars for the day. This couple are also big fans of Lego, and meticulously made personalised Lego characters holding the guests’ names for the table settings (which also included police Lego cufflinks too!)
Though it was pouring all day and probably the wettest day of the year, Laura & Mike still happily ventured outside for some gorgeous shots in the rain, including a beautiful romantic night-time shot under the arch. Congratulations to this incredible couple!
