🌤️ Hello May! Finding balance with joy, calm & creativity

Hooray, we’re into May, my favourite month of the year! I may be biased as it’s my birthday month… but even so, the spring/summer vibes always make me so happy! I love how the seasons change, the lime green leaves start to flourish on the trees, the birds sing in the distance and there’s a vibrancy of beautiful flowers blossoming with bumble bees buzzing about in a hive of activity.

Ordinarily, we’d follow suit with nature. This time of year I’d be full-swing into wedding season, many of you would be planning your summer festivals & trips away, organising your bank holiday plans or even attending friends & family weddings. We’d often associate the month of May to be lively, bustling and perhaps even forgetting to give ourselves a little bit of breathing space as we get so caught up in our busy lives.

We’re all so deserving and worthy of self-love. Giving our mind time to rest and feel calm and balanced with finding moments of joy. Whether it’s the small things like making a pot of fresh coffee, reading a book in the sunshine or channelling your inner Lizzo to share some happy sass with the world! Feeling that sense of balance with joy, calm & creativity has been one of the biggest takeaways from staying at home at this time.

What has given you balance in recent times? Have there been things you’ve learned about yourself that you’d want to take with you in the future?

I’d lastly want to send virtual hugs to you all and a big thank you for all your support & love at this time. It’s going to be strange when we do adjust to a new normal and I want you to know I’m there for you if you have any worries about your wedding or any photography questions. You guys are the backbone to Nisha Haq Photography and I can’t thank you enough. You’re all awesome in my book.

Sending you loving vibes, always,
