New Place Hotel Autumn Intimate Navy Wedding

So I have an amazing last-minute fairytale-esque wedding story to share with you…

Would you believe me if I said I didn’t know this awesome couple, Fleur & Jack until only 2 hours before their ceremony?!? Crazy right! It’s not usually how I roll but this year has certainly been one for the history books… spectacular weddings included!

It was our first time meeting at the church and what a joy it was seeing their faces. Due to the change of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions for 5 November (UK), this couple were due to get married later in the month but moved it before lockdown restrictions were in place. They weren’t able to get their photographer in so went into their wedding thinking they’d have no images. That morning I got an Instagram DM from the fabulous Rosie Blush, a fantastic make-up artist I’d worked with before as she overheard the bride didn’t have a photographer. 2 hours later I was kitted up with my gear shooting one of the most thrilling weddings of the year!

These photos are some of my favourites this year, the atmosphere, intimacy, adrenaline, weather, styling and of course their wonderful friends & family… it was just a perfect day! I’m flabbergasted that this couple planned this in only 3 days or so! It’s amazing what can be achieved with a bit of teamwork. 🙂

So blessed to have venues like New Place Hotel just 5 mins away from me and photograph a fellow Navy couple, I always love connecting with military families.
