Topsham Devon Summer Military Wedding

A beautiful summers day for a military wedding on the coast in Devon. Stephanie & Mike were in high spirits, celebrating with friends and family on a hot August bank holiday weekend. Guests gathered for an intimate ceremony at St Leonard’s Church, Exeter, where Stephanie looked radiant in her beautiful wedding dress, walking down the aisle. It was great to see the couple with beaming smiles walking through the sword arch and confetti line after the pre-ceremony nerves.

The party got going at L’Estuaire restaurant in Topsham on the quay. All sorts of summer festivities were going on in the picturesque town of Topsham, where the couple was joined by a town crier and quirky cyclists riding penny-farthings in the streets! I’d imagine the speeches were one the favourite parts of the day for many guests, as everyone was in bouts of laughter.

It was fun taking the couple away for a few sunset/dusk portraits overlooking the River Exe, just the two of them in the evening breeze. They make such a gorgeous couple! The night kicked off in fun fashion with the first dance song ‘Call Me Maybe‘ by Carly Rae Jepsen, which certainly got everyone dancing, followed by classic Beyonce ‘Crazy in Love’! What a way to end the perfect day! Congratulations to this fabulous couple!
